the placebo effect

An ms diagnosis has a massive psychological effect, that it makes the placebo effect more influential and prevailent. nobody cannot conclusively say that is not why DMDs have such a possitive effect, as it relieves the pressure of being totally at the diseases mercy and at least one is able to do something for oneself against it. This is probably the only condition where a placebo effect could be rampant in the cases of LDN etc and the purely have only psychological benefits that the body is able to produce naturally, and is always there just need coaxing or encouraging out to take its possitive effect.

They have no conclusive proof that anything works on its own merits at all. And if the whole scenario of unbearable stress upon our systems was addressed in the very first place non of its knock on effects would happen at all.
