I thought it was kidney related, but could be sciatic nerve

I have always thought that in the night when I would wake up with lower back pain, which then was releaved when I went for a wee, because of that fact I've been thinking that it was kidney related. But now I am thinking it is the sciatic nerve, which must be aggravated by the bladder, now this makes more sense. Also when I get up pain is very much reduced
