All of my symptoms started after breaking out in a panic attack from smoking weed and I haven't felt the same since.
I had planned to give up smoking for good but not because I couldn't smoke.
I tried smoking a couple days afterwards as people were telling me it was just anxiety and it was in my head, but I had another panic attack type of thing but not quite in which my heart was racing faster than a cheetah, my eyes became so bloodshot red I was freaked out by looking in the mirror, and my body became so cold that I tried to take a shower but even the hot steaming water felt cold on my skin.
I haven't touched it since but afterwards I had a very weird withdrawal which it probably wasn't the withdrawal but rather the candida not being used to my immune system being constantly weakened by marijuana. I thought I was losing my mind, had no appetite, diarrhea, intense headaches, crying for no reason, irratibility and so on.
A couple weeks later I tried drinking some coffee to get my day going when I burst out into cold sweats and my heart was beating once every 2 seconds. My mind went black for a couple hours where I even forgot my own name and I was scared for my life.
Now recently I quit smoking cigarettes which is great but it's because I was having these strange uncomfortable sensations go through my body. Felt like it came from my stomach but it's just this weird unexplainable jolt.
I also got these sensations when I tried drinking alcohol before I realized I had candida and they would just cause me to feel enormous amounts of anxiety.
Anyone have any idea of what this is? Could this be the candida going crazy or is it my body reacting to shield itself as it's already trying to defend me from the candida?- Re: Why does candida cause intole... Ruffneck 4y

I do have adrenal fatigue and it's actually how I figured out I also had candida, but I've read that adrenal fatigue can be caused by candida overgrowth particularly if it spreads to the kidneys which would make sense since there was blood in my urine about 3-4 weeks ago before I started the protocol.

I have to disagree w/ Ruffneck and Jhan. As fungal candida lives and dies in your body it puts out substances that have to be broken down and metabolized, and that job falls mainly on your liver. The substances you mention also contain compounds that need to be processed by your liver, so the overall burden is much higher. Some things accumulate in the body and if a saturation point is reached, symptoms can change quickly. Do a search on acetaldehyde+candida. Molybdenum helps.- Re: Why does candida cause intole... soxfan23 4y

Wow Cargo, you may have actually saved my life.
Here are some of the effects of acetaldehyde (significantly more toxic than ethanol):
•Is responsible for most of the symptoms of a hangover. Causes dilation of blood vessels in the brain which result in the characteristic severe headaches.
•Attacks and forms complexes with many proteins and nucleic acid (as in DNA and RNA) disrupting their normal functions.
•Blocks secretion of proteins by the liver and causes swelling of hepatocytes (liver cells).
•Binds and inactivates glutathione - the body's main antioxidant - thus increasing oxidative stress and allowing free radicals to damage cells throughout the body. Mitochondria, the energy producing machinery within each cell, are particularly susceptible to free radical damage.
•Impairs the function of lymphocytes (an important type of white blood cell) and red blood cells (those that transport oxygen).
•Increases the release of adrenaline causes heart palpitations, anxiety etc.
The last one makes perfect sense. What I described it to people as was that it felt like my body was releasing adrenaline that just about a month ago I had it so bad that I was jumping out of bed and having to pull over on while driving because I thought I was dying.
THANK YOU!- Re: Why does candida cause intole... #130264 4y

No problem. Btw, there are opposing viewpoints on this. http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1545452#i
And beyond acetaldehyde, there are tons of other toxins released by the breakdown of fungus/candida -I think Dr Jeff said the list is over 100. But when I read the experiences of people actually battling candida/die-off or helping patients do so, acetaldehyde looms big. A search of this forum turns up dozens of compelling posts, like this one: http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=300219#i
Personally, I started taking molybdenum a couple of months ago, and I haven't experienced brain fog since about that time. But my die-off symptoms had already lessened (my candidiasis is somewhat mild) so I can't say for sure. But definitely look into "blood cleansers." One of the 4 legs of the McCombs plan is Detox Essentials, for that very purpose. I still take a few of these a day (I had bought a few bottles--there's a lot per bottle), along w/ some extra capsules of red clover.
So much of this is a mystery, though. Over the last few weeks I had been experiencing involuntary (or maybe 90% involuntary) clenching of my jaw/neck muscles. It went from only happening when I was lying down, to happening while I was up and walking around. But now it's virtually gone... Like you I have AF, (and liver issues, and kidney and probably thyroid) and with the interaction between the organs and glands, the most brilliant doctor in the world couldn't really tell me what's going on or what could be ruled in or out.

this acetyldehyde thing has been gone over hundreds of times and debunked thoroughly
excess acetyldehyde causes fainting and coma , it is not possible to be under effects of acetyldehyde poisoning for years without slipping into fainting or coma
yes poor liver function will cause you to feel ill but this is because the liver is adversely affected by high stress levels (ie the more stressed you are the worse your liver functions)- Debunked thoroughly, you say? #130264 4y Medianet Ads

Can you point me to some evidence of this debunking??

Stop posting those tired candida links from sites pushing the latest cure all snake oil.
Here's one debunking from a year ago on this very topic , took me about 5 seconds to find it i'm sure if i searching for 5 minutes i could find 10 other threads debunking this myth : http://curezone.com/forums/am.asp?i=1545379
If this were the case and it accumulated in the body then we would all feel like garbage all the time since acetaldehyde is also found in fruits, vegetables, coffee, and many other plants we consume. It is also generated by the heating of fats during cooking and is found in cigarette smoke and automobile exhaust, which most of us are exposed to on a daily basis. In addition some of the foods we eat, such as fruits, also contain ethanol that is converted in the body in to acetaldehyde. We also ingest other related aldehydes all the time such as cinnamon (cinnamaldehyde), cherries and almonds (benzaldehyde) anise (anisaldehyde), vanilla (hydroxybenzaldehyde and salicyladehyde), skim milk, coffee and cocoa (furaldehyde), etc. If our bodies did not metabolize these aldehydes we would be in serious trouble.- Re: Debunked thoroughly, you say? #130264 4y

Hey Ruffneck, do me a favor: since I already posted that link to HV's post up above, take 5 minutes, for the good of humanity, and get two more sources of this "debunking." Up above you mentioned "hundreds," but thanks for offering to find 10. Seriously. I'm waiting.
Which one of the five sites that I linked to was pushing "cure all snake oil?"

Body metabolize acetaldehyde but in an highly toxic covalent bonds. Acetaldehyde is an highly reactive chemical that forms covalent bonds with proteins. In the body, acetaldehyde also forms covalent bonds with proteins in blood, tissues and intestinal lining. The results protein-acetaldehyde addition compounds is called adducts. These modified proteins are recognized as foreign antigens by the immune system, and antibodies are formed against adducts. Antigens are form against adduct. Immunocomplexes from the antigens and antibodies synergy create a myriad of symptoms of heavy toxicity. Because candida sufferers are already highly reactive to a lot of antigens, adducts compound can cause severe symptoms. These adducts are toxic to the immune system as much as acetaldehyde. They cannot be eliminated properly.
I have a serious case of chronic candida with formaldehyde intolerance. This formaldehyde intolerance is due to immune cross-reactivity triggered previously by acetaldehyde adduct antibodies.
Beware of some of HV posts. For acetaldehyde HV missed the target.- Re: This is false Ruffneck! #130264 4y

IMO, part of the problem here is the use of the word "accumulates." There are chemical and cellular cycles in the body like the Krebs cycle, and they either work normally and efficiently, or something interferes w/ them, disrupts them or slows them down. When they're disrupted and slowed down, the raw materials i.e. the "reactants" back up and wait longer than normal to be turned into "products." So they're not being stored/accumulating in the way mercury or silver would accumulate, i.e. by being deposited into fat tissue or elsewhere, but there is a glut or logjam as they wait to be processed.

Barring cirrhosis if they stopped drinking their livers would start repairing themselves within days and they would feel mostly fine after a few months.
The point i'm making is everybody here is generally eating healthily and not drinking alcohol , taking extra minerals/vitamins etc. Therefore the missing link is stress induced liver disorder as opposed to alcoholic induced liver disorder.
In both cases take away the stressor and the liver will recover.- Re: Why does candida cause intole... abhi206 21mo

Marijuana when used over a long period of time can also have dramatic effects on the brain of a user. Some portions of the brain have cannabinoid receptors, but other areas of the brain have few or none. The cannabinoid receptors in the brain influence feelings of pleasure, memory, concentration, thought, sensory perception and coordination of movements. Research has shown long term marijuana addiction can adversely affect these areas of the brain.

I have been long time told I have depression and have had the same symptoms that this poor person is reporting. This is not true and devastating for self-estime. I agree with you that it is adrenal related. But these adrenal dysfunctions and other endocrine disorders are due to candida immunocomplexes induced inflammation. Vitamins B or magnesium may help but would not adress the root causes of the problems. This person needs to stop allergens because his immune system react to a lot of antigens, needs immunotherapy, to follow a proper diet and get long and aggressive antifungal therapy.
Hope this help!

These symptoms are caused by hypersensitivity reactions due to candida antibodies cross-reacting with other antigens. This problem is 100% related to chronic candidiasis. Immune complexes due to cross reactions of candida antibodies with other antigens lead to chronic inflammation of tissue. This chronic inflammation of tissue typical of chronic candidiasis lead to autoimmune endocrinopathies (endocrine glands not working normmally). Several studies are linking candida immunocomplexes with chronic inflammation and autoimmune endocrinopathies in chronic candidiasis individuals.

How do you know what I have?
It's a fact chronic marijuana use kills your immune system. If my white now yellowish tongue, white particles in my urine, white clunks coming out of me after an ACV/Aloe enema, yeast smelling breath, memory loss, cold hands and feet, heart palpitations, brain fog from any Sugar or carbs is not candida then I don't what else it could be. - Re: Why does candida cause intole... aijian 4y

I had the exact same thing with cigarettes and alcohol. I got the same jolts. This is not amxiety. Please not that coffee reactions may be due to some mold or yeast antigens in coffee. It can also be anxiety induced by caffeine due to high concentration of candida byproducts (you may be in constant die-off) in your body (candida byproducts are already toxics to your nervous system) with a combination of endocrine disorders induced by chronic inflammation of tissues typical of hypersensitivity reactions linked to chronic candidiasis.
Your candida antibodies are cross reacting with aldehyde and formaldehyde, yeast, mold, and other antigens in coffee, alcohol, and tobacco, marijuana smoke and other problematic food products.
This an immune reaction caused by chronic candidiasis. Bottom line is you have to stop the allergens, reprogram your immune system with EPD (IGG), reprogram your immune system with classic allergy shots to all IGE allergens (IGE), boost your gut immunity IGG, IGE, IGG, with bovine serum, and eradicate chronic candidiadis with long term triple antifungal tritherapy.

It might be, but it can also be something else.
Chances are that these symptoms are link to immune reaction. Which? I don't know. According what you've told me, chances are big that candida antibodies are behind this. Can you associate these symptoms with some particular exposures. If not, chances are big allergy/sensitivity come from within you (candida antibodies reaction to all sorts of antigens). The sneezing is pretty frequent with yeast or mold sensitivites triggered by candida antigens. You still must be check for Iga allergy with a conventional allergist(prick/scratch test). It can be dust mites or mold conventionnal allergy. You have to rule out IGA allergy first. If all come up negative then I am almost certain this is caused by candida antibodies

bovine serum increases you gut immunity:

EPD is not available in United States due to FDA restriction.
It is available in Canada and United Kingdom:

Hey soxfan, are you still active?
I've got similar issues as you've described in the OP. I've been smoking bong every day for 9 years, until i quit in the beginning of 2010.I stopped mostly because i got serious circulation and gut problems after smoking weed, i had to lay down on my bathroom floor for 1-2 hours, constantly pouring cold water on my face to get my circulation going...
I also have issues with coffee, every time i drink coffee i get extremely tired and my heart runs wild.
I know that this isn't some mental issue, i'm sure it has something to do with my gut flora, e.g. candida, bacterias, parasites. I also have issues with sugar, despite being negative tested on diabetes, i get tired about 15-30 minutes after eating Sugar and if i get to bed in the evening, after a day eating sugar, i'm getting polyneuropathic symptoms (e.g. strange burning sensations in my legs, as well as an overall heat in my body), if i take NAC those symptoms lessen.
What bugs me the most is the brainfog making it near impossible to think clearly and concentrate.
It would be nice to hear from you about your progress
