What is Field Control Therapy?
FCT has a totally different approach to that of conventional medicine.
- FCT testing establishes the cause of ailments, then determines the best course of treatment to remove them.
- It addresses factors which prevent the body from healing, working with the body itself to establish the root causes of disease.
- It is non invasive.
- It is based on old and new science and is more precise than conventional diagnostic methods.
- It establishes exactly where the root causes which are harming you are within the body, then assists the body’s natural systems in overcoming those causes.
Real Healing encourages you to reconnect with the health promoting factors from which most of us have become estranged, namely:
- Fresh, wholesome food.
- Fresh, vital water.
- Fresh, clean, outdoor air.
- Natural sunlight that is not filtered through glass.
- Contact with the earth's natural fields.
- Exercise; simply movement.
- Time in which you 'exist for yourself', rather than merely serving the needs of your employer, family, nation etc.
- Rest.
Many stubborn diseases that are difficult to treat using conventional medicine have their roots in a body that is overloaded with toxins and stresses built up over time. This puts strain on the body’s own natural healing processes and its natural ability to fight infections, eventually compromising the immune system. Removing the toxins and blocks using FCT restores natural healing to the body. The key to the therapy is that FCT targets toxins and other negative factors and subtracts them, rather than systemically adding medications such as antibiotics, which could, in themselves, be pernicious.

Field Control Therapy History and FAQs
Who developed FCT, and why?
Field Control Therapy was developed by a New York medical doctor named Savely Yurkovsky MD. Originally trained in the USSR, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at Coney Island Hospital of the Downstate Medical School, Brooklyn, New York.As a hospital doctor, Savely Yurkovsky noticed that treating symptoms in one part of the body often only led to disease appearing in different organs. Disenchanted with the dismal outcomes of conventional medicine, he turned to the study of alternative medicine, investigating both European and Oriental systems including homeopathy, kinesiology and acupuncture. Through this study and work with his mentor, Professor Emeritus of Materials Science William A Tiller of Stanford University, he became increasingly convinced of the need to find an alternative to the ‘hit and miss’ approach of many diagnostic systems. Inspired by the 1950s work of German Dr Reckweg, who developed homotoxicology, he observed that the body could not always eliminate toxins such as heavy metals, toxic chemicals and antibiotics; over time, these accumulated in vital organs. With Field Control Therapy, he developed a scientifically exact and predictable form of diagnosis that reveals the root cause of the problem (often toxins) within an individual’s body.
In short, FCT recognises that each body is individual both from a biological and a physics standpoint and that each organ within that body is more or less susceptible to known harmful factors that interfere with its natural ability to self heal.

How does the FCT diagnosis work?
FCT uses a diagnostic method called bio-resonance testing, which relies on the principle that all matter has its own energy field, with its own individual signature. Sealed glass vials containing the energetic imprints of various body organs, tissues, harmful agents, foods and other substances are placed in turn on a metal plate and transmit an energy field through a cable connected to a small metal bar held by you. Once your system senses the energy field that bears some clinical relevance to your health, it will initiate a corresponding involuntary muscle reaction, which is felt by the practitioner. They then use the body’s involuntary muscle reactions to prescribe individual energised homeopathic remedies at precise strengths in a particular order. What is the principle behind the remedies?
The principle behind FCT is to use the energetic/informational aspect of matter to support the your body in its efforts to remove toxins and combat pathogens, targeting particular organs. The remedies help your body to excrete the toxins out of the organs and tissues into the bloodstream. From there, they exit via the excretory organs: kidneys, colon, lymph system, liver and skin. Are there any particularly common toxins?
Most people show accumulations of mercury, which has been given off in the form toxic vapour from silver amalgam fillings. Even children who have never had any amalgam fillings may show mercury in their systems as it can cross the placenta in the womb. Lead, petrol, paint and antibiotics are other toxins that are commonly found. When toxins or allergens are present in your system, the body struggles against them, putting strain on the immune system, which can be the root cause of many diseases. Emotional stress can put further strain on the system. What else should I know?
There is ample evidence that electromagnetic fields (EMFs) emitted from computers, televisions, telephones, fluorescent lighting, radios and electrical sockets can have a negative effect on our health. They should be avoided as much as possible in everyday life, but this is even more important while you are on the protocols because while the metals accumulate in the bloodstream, EMFs in our environment will interact with them and interfere with the excretion process. We often forget that before electric current was discovered and commercially developed less than 200 years ago, no life form had been exposed to man made electromagnetic fields; so while life has existed for about three and a half billion years, we have not had sufficient time to adapt to this factor in our environment.
The other main causes of disease:
- Infectious agents; bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites.
- Medically induced illness: side effects of vaccinations, pharmaceutical agents, Xrays and other energetic interventions, symptom suppression.
- Ruinous lifestyles; western diet, recreational drugs, lack of rest and excercise, "overdoing it".
- Emotional and physical trauma; abuse and neglect, accident and extreme life events.
- Organ and system faults; true genetic disorders, epigenetic factors including homeopathic miasms, constitutional weakness.
