Drugs that interact, in some cases a cocktail of drugs

People are given various different drugs for different issues, How do they know what is a drug side effect and what is supposedly "ms" symptom, also different drugs may interact with each other creating yet again another  symptom.

I myself have been prescribed Amitriptyline and Baclofen, but this can interact with each other again causing extra symptoms see below

Interactions between your selected drugs

amitriptyline ↔ baclofen

Applies to:Limbitrol DS (amitriptyline/chlordiazepoxide) and baclofen
Using amitriptyline together with baclofen may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. Some people may also experience some impairment in thinking and judgment. You should avoid or limit the use of alcohol while being treated with these medications. Avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery until you know how the medications affect you. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
