Back pain, neck pain, headaches and fatigue

Whole body wellbeing

The problems most commonly associated with a misalignment of your spine are chronic backpain, neckpain, migraines or fatigue. In addition to these, the Atlas Orthogonal (AO) adjustment can help your body with a multitude of health problems. Some of the main problems related to an atlas misalignment include:

Headaches

The neck, or cervical spine, is home to two critical systems – the vertebral arteries and the brain stem. When your atlas is misaligned, it can cause interference to the brain stem or blood flow to the brain. This can create painful pressure headaches, backache, chronic fatigue, and the dizziness and nausea associated with migraines.

Backache and chronic fatigue

The entire spine is a tunnel of interlocking vertebrae that protect the spinal cord which, together with the brain, forms your central nervous system. There are spaces between each vertebra from where nerves (extensions of the spinal cord) reach throughout the body regulating and controlling your bodily functions.
The nervous system can be compared to a highway which needs to be well maintained to keep traffic running smoothly. Just like a motorway, when the nervous system is out of kilter, you'll start to experience 'blockages' which manifest themselves as illness, persistent pain or tiredness. Realigning the atlas bone can help improve or correct many spinal misalignments, promoting a healthier nervous system and better all over body function.
