Liberation - TMJ

Atlas Correction

.

The Liberation

.
When your Atlas bone – the top cervical vertebra, known as C1 – is out of alignment, it affects every organ in the body as well as the central nervous system.
And guess what?
It is out of alignment in almost everyone, making it virtually impossible for us to function correctly.
.
.

.
.
.
.
.
.
Because of a misaligned atlas we are not able to listen to our body’s signals, using our mind instead to over-ride the subtle warning mechanisms of that incredible vehicle.
.
.

.
.
.
.
With a misaligned Atlas, any resultant pressure on the spinal cord can bring about serious disturbances to the nervous system, impacting the flow of nerve impulses from the brain in turn reducing, distorting or even neutralising the natural workings of the body.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Our ignorance of this can be the cause of so many poor health conditions from structural body pains – TMJ, neck, hip and back being the most common – to a considerable array of less obvious connections.
.

The procedure for correction

.
  • Massage applied to the short musculature of the neck.
  • Single application, safely and permanently,
  • Atlas bone returns to its correct position. Old patterns clear and the entire system begins to function to its fullest potential.
  • Realigning the Atlas is like getting the foundations of a house laid correctly.  When the support structure is in place, the rest of the vertebrae are aligned and function as designed.
  • In most of us, the Atlas is out of alignment from birth and even before birth; babies born by C-section almost always have their Atlas out of place.
  • Once corrected, the Atlas won’t become out of alignment again.
  • When the muscles are loose, the Atlas can slide down gently into place by itself.  There is no cracking of the neck or any kind of chiropractic manipulation, or anything that might be traumatic; it is safe.
  • A self-healing process will start once the Atlas correction has been performed, as many pathways running through the neck will be realigned, such as the blood circulation, nerves, optical nerves, lymphatic system and the body’s life force.

This is a very powerful tool for holistic dentists or actually any dentist to get their client´s Atlas aligned properly before starting any major dental work.

  • Click on the shaded area to open up the images
  • Click on any part of the central spinal column to see the relationship between that part of the spine and the surrounding organs/nerves.
  • Click on the top spinal bone – C1 (the Atlas) to see the potential impact of any misalignment.

Once you appreciate the internal connection you’ll better understand the content in a fascinating interview with Michael Hane, Cranio-Sacral Osteopath.

The longer version part 1 and 2: well worth listening to if you suffer from ANY long term health condition.

If you live in the UK and would like to benefit from an atlas correction, go to www.marieatlas.co.uk where you can contact her directly and read her customer feedback.
If you live outside Britain and would like to know more or find an AtlasPROfilax® practitioner, got to http://www.atlasprofilax.ch/ and in the directory there’s a drop down box for locating practitioners worldwide.

Almost everything depends on a correctly located Atlas. It’s a tragedy that the human body falls sick at all, but it’s fatal ignorance if we learn the cause yet do nothing.

Your Jaw and Skull

.

.
.
.
.
.
Here is where you get an understanding of the mechanics of your body. For example how a high filling in your tooth can upset the delicate balance of your bite which in turn may create symptoms elsewhere in your body. These symptoms will be difficult to resolve until you are seen by someone who understands the nature of such conditions.

A very important part, if not the most important, in this balance is your Temporo Mandibular Joint (TMJ). This joint of the jaw helps you move your jaw up and down, left and right, forward and backwards. You have one on each side, working in unison. Only the mandible, the lower part of your jaw, that moves during those motions. . . .
.
The TMJ is no doubt affected by almost every other part of your body hence can cause all kinds of problems such as head ache, tooth ache, neck or shoulder pain and even back pain or hamstring problems.
.
.
.
.

.
.
If you have pain in this joint or it doesn´t function as it should whether this is due to muscles, tendons, ligaments, blood vessels or other associated tissues, you are suffering from a Temporo-Mandibular-Disorder or –Dysfunction. It even involves your neck, your back, shoulders and even your legs, well actually your whole body.
.
.
Some say, the TMJ is the headquarter of the body´s balance mechanism. If the jaw doesn´t close properly because of mal occluded teeth, the balance mechanism is forced to adapt.
.
.
.
However, because it´s under constant stress, the brain is pumping out lots of hormones like noradrenalin and serotonin. This sensitizes the autonomic nervous system, making the patient vulnerable to any other stressors like bad diet or emotional problems. So depression could be linked to TMJ dysfunction.
